Primary Responsibility:

The HR Assistant performs duties at the professional level in some or all the following functional areas: employee relations, training, employment, corrective action and payroll functions.

Essential Functions:

  • Maintains all employee and applicant documentation as dictated by governing agencies.
  • Manages and tracks all employee disciplinary action.
  • Coaches, counsels and guides managers before executing employee disciplinary actions.
  • Maintains and processes all Unemployment Notices of Entitlement and potential charges in a timely, efficient manner. Attend unemployment hearings when necessary.
  • Assists with recruitment tasks as needed (reviews applications, interviews, onboarding)
  • Updates and maintains HR SharePoint site.
  • Creates monthly HR newsletter.
  • Implements and executes employee surveys.
  • Acts as an employee relations specialist.
  • Administers all Workers Comp related claims. Reports, maintains and monitors all workers' compensation case files; follows up on open cases.
  • Distributes and monitors employee performance evaluations and ensures they are done in a timely manner.
  • Provide support for offer/termination letters, special reports, background checks, verification of employment.
  • Collects and forwards a variety of supporting document files, systems and reports to requesting personnel including but not limited to payroll files.
  • Responds to routine questions or inquiries and refers non-routine items to appropriate management team member for action; Continuous follow up on open items to ensure accuracy and completion.
  • Other duties include supporting HR Management in preparing correspondence and reports, maintaining calendar and appointment schedules, coordinating meetings including scheduling, reservations, travel arrangements and presentation materials; preparing expense reports, coding invoices for payment and other clerical duties.
  • Will assist with various HR projects and miscellaneous duties as assigned. Responsible for the timely and accurate reporting and payment of all Federal, State and Local business taxes, licensing requirements, and/or, but not limited to new hire reporting ensuing full compliance will all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Fully adhere to GHRA’s policies, procedures and work directives; Maintain strict confidentiality of pay and personnel information.
  • Resolve internal/external customer issues in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, managers, clients and other parties as related to the GHRA’s services and overall business; Communicates effectively with all levels of management

General Summary:

Reports to VP of Supply Chain Operations

The Category Manager position manages assigned categories within the Supply Chain team with major responsibilities in achieving both financial and department goals. It is responsible for all buying functions of assigned products and is the resident expert for all products within the assigned category. Fosters strong business relationship with suppliers to maximize program opportunities for members.

Primary Responsibility:

Develops strong relationships with suppliers, assessing capabilities and evaluating performance.  Ensures products are sourced and delivered at lowest possible cost.  Monitors buying network and trade channel to keep up to date on ongoing special buys, promotions, and new opportunities.  Manages the marketing of assigned products along with maximizing category program funding for members including retail pricing architecture.  Determines SKU offering (new and discontinued items).  Maintains high executional standards to ensure vendor and member compliance.

Essential Functions:

  • Creates and develops a long term plan and strategy for development of the category
  • Plans for and negotiates annual programs, cost, delivery and payment terms for assigned categories.
  • Develops income and expense budgets with responsibility for category revenue.
  • Manages vendor contracts to ensure timely receipt of rebates and promotional funding.

Essential Functions:
1. New Business Development:

General Description:

The Supply Planner position will manage the creation and timely execution of purchase orders and inventory management in support of business objectives while maintaining lowest possible inventory levels and agreed upon service levels. In this role, you will ensure GHRA is providing the best-in-class consumer experience by managing vendor purchasing, optimizing inbound flows, and maintaining healthy inventory levels through data-driven analysis and decision making, and building relationships with our vendors, and internal cross-functional teams.

Primary Responsibility:

  • Own end-to-end planning and execution of inventory.
  • Manage the end-to-end process of PO creation to PO received by the warehouse in a timely manner.
  • Implement and maintain inventory strategies by regular review and optimization of supply planning parameters (Ex. Reorder points, safety stock, ABC categorization, MOQ).
  • Analyze key metrics including vendor fill rate, lead time variability and inbound capacity to maintain GHRA’s in-stock rates and inventory turns.
  • Conduct regular inventory level reviews related to high and low in-stock SKUs with internal and external stakeholders.

Primary Responsibility:

Ensures accurate scanning and pulling of all items being ordered.  Reduces out of stocks of items in the warehouse but not picked. Communicate with customers for out of stock, add and missing items.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Check orders and maintain pick pack report.
  • Provides answers to add and missing item-related queries.
  • Scan items if not matched with the order received.
  • Print orders received and provide to puller.
  • Spot count and verifies accuracy of tobacco products.
  • Stays up to date on all promotions and special offers.
  • Maintains accurate records of transactions.
  • Price changes of certain items in special circumstances.
  • Coordinate with Floor employees and packer for out of stock products.

General Summary:

Reports to Inventory Supervisor

Accountable for the fluid movement of pallets and products received in a safe and accurate manner.

Primary Responsibility:

Responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, count merchandise and to create pallet modules. Accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and may also be required to perform Order Filler and Checker duties.

Essential Functions:

  • Moves product to storage locations
  • Efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate areas

Responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, count merchandise and to create pallet modules. Accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and may also be required to perform Order Filler and Checker duties.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Unloads inbound shipments safely
  • Moves product to storage locations
  • Efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate areas
  • Ensures inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage
  • Pulls and prepares product for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped
  • Loads, unloads, moves, stacks, and stages product and materials using a forklift
  • Maintains the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion
  • Inspects and performs minor maintenance on the forklift or other equipment
  • Operates all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods
  • Keeps appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory controls and security is maintained
  • Assists in physical inventories and ensures proper stock rotation
  • Maintains a clean, neat, and orderly work area
  •  Complies with OSHA and MSDS Standards
  • Maintains certification on all necessary equipment

Qualifications

Experience and Skills:

  • 2-3 years forklift experience
  • Basic math skills

 

Educational Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged walking and standing for 8 continuous hours including but not limited to a concrete or tile surface
  • Product replenishing which includes frequent bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, balancing, pushing and pulling
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

General Summary:
Reports to Replenishment Supervisor
Accountable for replenishment and upholding the quality and standards of goods in the store.

Primary Responsibility:
Responsible for the flow of merchandise from the point of delivery to the sales floor or internal destination. Also responsible for unpacking, processing, organizing, and storing merchandise. Ensures that products are easily accessible, visually appealing, and constantly available.

Essential Functions:
• Enhances the brand image of both the products and the store, and positively impact the customer experience
• Ensures that all items are stocked and area is ready for customers to shop
• Ensures that warehouse is clean and safe to shop
• Sorts grocery items and assigns them with relevant labels and price tags
• Stacks goods in an organized manner in the store shelves
• Maintains replenishment of products in a timely manner
• Keeps products rotated and maintains product quality
• Ensures perishable goods are stored at the appropriate temperature
• Maintains regular inventory counts.
• Prominently displaying promotional offers
• Reports damages and discrepancies to the supervisor
• Co-coordinating work functions with the sales team and other departments
• Fronting and facing products

Qualifications

Experience and Skills:
• 2-3 years’ experience working with scanners and in a large distribution company
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to effectively manage time, meet targets and work in a team
• In compliance with the food and safety regulations
