General Summary:

Reports to Transportation supervisor

Responsible for transporting and unloading merchandise at customer locations.

Primary Responsibility:

Maintains a high level of customer satisfaction through timely and accurate deliveries. Ensures proper product returns and accurate invoicing. Ensures deliveries are in accordance with the Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for the transportation of products  to customer locations
  • Unloads, and verifies products properly at customer locations
  • Delivers all returned product and empty totes back to the warehouse daily
  • Accountable for all assigned company assets
    • Truck equipment/inventory
    • Service and appearance
    • Record retention and maintenance requirements
  • Follows all operational and quality control procedures
  • Maintains all government requirements
  • Performs all other duties as assigned

Promotions Driver/Helper

Experience and Skills:

  • 1-2 years driving experience with class C license
  • Able to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers
  • Ability to work with little supervision
  • Excellent verbal communication
  • Maintains professional appearance
  • Ability to read maps
  • Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Lift gate experience

Educational Requirements:

  • Class “C” driver’s license
  • Completed Drivers safety classes

Physical Requirements:

  • Lifting: Will be required to lift items up to 75 lbs.
  • Pushing/Pulling: Pallet jack or dolly-pulling product out of the trailer
  • Standing: To operate controls on equipment
  • Sitting: Drive from one location to another
  • Climbing: Up and down enter/exit truck up to 18in. high and climb ladder, steps and ramps
  • Walking: With pallet jack or dolly
  • Squatting: To restack items if needed
  • Stooping: To adjust dock ramps

General Summary:
Reports to Floor Supervisor
Accountable for replenishment and upholding the quality and standards of goods in the store.

Primary Responsibility:
Responsible for the flow of merchandise from the point of delivery to the sales floor or internal destination. Also responsible for unpacking, processing, organizing, and storing merchandise. Ensures that products are easily accessible, visually appealing, and constantly available.

Essential Functions:
• Enhances the brand image of both the products and the store, and positively impact the customer experience
• Ensures that all items are stocked and area is ready for customers to shop
• Ensures that warehouse is clean and safe to shop
• Sorts grocery items and assigns them with relevant labels and price tags
• Stacks goods in an organized manner in the store shelves
• Maintains replenishment of products in a timely manner
• Keeps products rotated and maintains product quality
• Ensures perishable goods are stored at the appropriate temperature
• Maintains regular inventory counts.
• Prominently displaying promotional offers
• Reports damages and discrepancies to the supervisor
• Co-coordinating work functions with the sales team and other departments
• Fronting and facing products

Qualifications

Experience and Skills:
• 2-3 years’ experience working with scanners and in a large distribution company
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to effectively manage time, meet targets and work in a team
• In compliance with the food and safety regulations

Educational Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged walking and standing for 8 continuous hours including but not limited to a concrete or tile surface
• Product replenishing which includes frequent bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, balancing, pushing and pulling
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Order Selector

General Summary:

Reports to Puller Supervisor

Accountable for selecting items for customers’ orders in a timely and accurate manner.

Primary Responsibility:

Selects and picks each item in accordance with standard procedures. Places selected items in assigned loading areas. Ensures a safe and clean work environment to prevent injuries.

Essential Functions:

  • Transfers electronically selected orders into distribution bins
  • Maintains assigned equipment
  • Moves merchandise from selection area to loading area
  • Responsible for meeting company standards for productivity
  • Responsible for maintaining quality control on all products handled
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Experience and Skills:

  • Preferred minimum 1 year experience in warehouse operations
  • Certified on all equipment necessary to perform duties
  • Good communications skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision

Educational Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Job Description

Pricing Analyst

General Summary: Reports to Director of Procurement

The Pricing Analyst is responsible for the master data for the organization related to planning, purchasing, and inventory management. This role will also function as the pricing expert and will create and drive pricing strategies and tactics that result in P&L growth for all categories.

Essential Functions:

Pricing Analyst responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Prepare & manage price books including but not limited to costing, pricing, & margins for all categories.

• Update tobacco pricing models to accommodate any contractual changes or Category Manager strategy shifts.

• Perform pricing audits, monthly performance monitoring and analysis to inform changes to go-forward pricing implementation and strategy.

• Generate Price Change Analysis reports recommending pricing actions based upon supplier communication of cost changes and while maintaining category margin targets.

• Suggested Retail Pricing (SRP) management for all warehouse products, including competitor pricing analysis to ensure retail pricing recommended to members balances profit and competitiveness in the ever-changing marketplace.

• Collaborate with Category Managers to carry out new promotion setups and monthly rebate funding for all eligible vendors/items.

• Perform pricing analyses and create actionable reports offering key insights on pricing scenarios to the Category Management teams for next actions.

• Create actionable reports for Category Managers that offer insights into pricing, promotional impacts, and competitive landscape, guiding the development of comprehensive pricing strategies.

• Analyze pricing strategy performance and impact; recommending and championing changes to pricing strategy based on results from analyses.

• Monitor market and competitive pricing, supply chain inventory and cost increases, and apply analytics to inform strategy.

• Maintain and update vendor & item master files daily as needed with creation of new suppliers, new items and updates to supplier contact details & item records as changes are submitted.

• Enter data into TA/NetSuite Master Data and verify 100% accuracy for the following: item masters, vendor masters, purchasing information records, pricing records, and other related data.

• Regularly review and enforce data quality and accountability. Analyze master data failures to understand root cause & promote fixes to correct data anomalies.

• Regularly monitor Item Master for missing and inconsistent data. Solicit missing/correct information from other departments and upload it into TA/NetSuite systems.

• Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, and Operations teams to understand ERP data requirements and ensure processes are clearly defined.

• Coordinate efforts among the data owners to deliver their data in a timely fashion to the Master Data team so item numbers and material master records can be created efficiently and in a timely fashion.

• Ensure thorough, complete, and timely communication with all necessary departments to verify completion of commitments and provide updates on timelines and responsibilities.

• Participate in meetings and on teams to enhance internal communication as well as contribute to establishing and maintaining policies and procedures for master data record keeping.

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

• Creates reports based on ad-hoc analysis requests and special projects.

• Performs other related and assigned duties as necessary.

Pricing Analysis

• Ability to formulate pricing strategies that enhance brand value for customers and consumers and connect with the overall strategy of the business.

• Prepare customer pricing and profitability analyses, build pricing models, and drive best-practice negotiation and pricing management processes.

• Monitor data for insights in competitors for early indications of competitors/customer/market moves and provide proactive, data-backed recommendations.

• Develop pricing recommendations (proposed prices and overall impact) based on analyses and understanding of implications to overall business objectives.

Effective Communications

• Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools, and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Business Acumen

• Knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.

Experience and Skills:

• 3-5 years of experience as an analyst, pricing support, marketing, sales operations or related roles.

• Analytical Skills: effectively uses data to generate insights for operations excellence.

• Problem Solving; ability to use rigorous logic to solve problems with innovative effective solutions.

• High level of experience with Microsoft Excel & good working knowledge of Microsoft Word & PowerPoint.

• Experience with accurate prior data entry required.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• May be standing or sitting for extend period of times.

• Extended period of time working in front of computer monitor.

• Flexible/able to work additional hours when needed.
