Recruiting Coordinator

Primary Responsibility:

As a Recruiter, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent to contribute to the success of our organization. You will collaborate with hiring managers and HR professionals to understand staffing needs, develop effective recruitment strategies, and ensure a positive candidate experience. The Recruiter will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing and screening candidates to facilitating the interview and selection process.

Responsibilities:

Sourcing and Talent Acquisition:

  • Utilize various sourcing methods, including online job boards, social media, networking, and referrals, to attract qualified candidates.
  • Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through pro-active market research and ongoing relationship management.

Candidate Screening and Assessment:

  • Review resumes and applications, conduct initial phone screenings, and assess candidate suitability for specific roles.
  • Coordinate and administer pre-employment assessments as required.

Interview and Selection Process:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job requirements and develop effective interview strategies.
  • Conduct in-depth interviews, both in person and virtually, to evaluate candidates’ skills, qualifications, and cultural fit.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Foster strong partnerships with hiring managers, HR, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on recruitment goals and strategies.
  • Provide timely and clear communication to candidates and internal teams throughout the recruitment process.

Job Offer and Onboarding:

  • Extend job offers to selected candidates and negotiate terms of employment.
  • Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to facilitate a smooth onboarding process for new hires.

Data Management:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and other relevant databases.
  • Generate regular reports on recruitment metrics and provide insights for process improvement.

Recruiting Coordinator

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Recruiter or in a similar talent acquisition role.
  • Familiarity with various sourcing techniques and tools.
  • Strong interviewing and assessment skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.

Physical Requirements:

  • This is a full-time position based in Houston.
  • May be standing or sitting for extend period of times
  • Occasional light travel
  • Extended period of time working in front of computer monitor
