Job Summary

 General Summary:

Reports to the IT Director

Primary Responsibility:

Experienced Project Manager to manage organization of key projects. Specific project manager responsibilities include developing detailed project plans, ensuring resource availability and allocation and delivering every project on time within budget and scope.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manages and oversees multiple complex projects.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility 
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

Job Skills & Qualifications

Required:

  • Experienced IT Project Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the retail convenience store industry
  • Extensive leadership experience and strong teaming abilities
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Minimum three years management experience in the IT field with retail background.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Equivalent in Computer Information Systems or closely related field required.
  • Three (3) years working experience as information systems project manager planning, designing, developing, and implementing enterprise level information systems and projects. 
  • Three (3) years’ experience with systems design lifecycle for a retail convenience store industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects

Physical Requirements:

  • Requires little physical effort. 
  • Requires the employee to stand, walk, use hands, tools, controls, reach with arms, climb, or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; sit; use hands; read; talk or hear.
  • Ability to work under stress during peak workload periods
  • Work environment involves only infrequent exposure to disagreeable elements
