GHRA

IT Systems Developer
Number of Openings: 1 - Start Date: Immediate

General Summary:
Reports to the IT Administrator

Maintains information technology strategies by developing, researching and implementing technological strategic solutions at all GHRA facilities.

Primary Responsibility:
Develop and maintain new and existing software with a focus on understanding and meeting user needs, security, and coding best practices all while setting and meeting deadlines.

Essential Functions:

  • Software development and maintenance.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours
  • Performs other duties and projects as assigned.

Experience and Skills:

  • Must have a strong dedication to customer service
  • Training ability/experience a plus
  • Analyze situations, evaluate alternatives, and implement solutions within standards (where applicable)
  • Interpret guidelines and analyze factual information to adapt or modify processes in response to changing circumstances
  • Duties may require non-routine analysis, research and follow-through

Shipping Supervisor
Number of Openings: 1 - Start Date: Immediate

General Summary:
Reports to the General Manager

Accountable for ensuring all orders are processed, picked, staged, built up on pallets and loaded on the trucks in correct order for delivery. Ensures, work force, works in a timely manager and that all issues are managed and issues resolved quickly.

Primary Responsibility:
Shipping Supervisor is responsible for all activities on the night shift; picking, building, loading, cleaning, stocking, safety, and completing shift in a timely manner.

Essential Functions:

  • Individual must engage in the typical duties of a supervisor, requiring planning, organizing, and integrating responsibilities.
  • Manage and supervise a team of employees, incoming/outgoing freight, and work-flow in shipping/receiving departments.
  • Work closely with customer service and production to process and maintain shipment schedules.
  • Engage in the typical responsibilities of a supervisor.
  • Plan, integrate, evaluate, organize, and delegate responsibility.
  • Work closely with customer service and production to process and maintain shipment schedule while ensuring product being shipped meets customer quality specifications.
  • Ensures proper procedures are in place and being followed for efficient shipping and receiving activities, employee safety, and state and federal guidelines.
  • Prepares finished stock for shipment by accurately identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
  • Maintains shipping and receiving materials by checking stock to determine inventory levels, anticipating needed materials, placing and expanding orders for materials, and verifying receipts of materials.

Experience and Skills:

  • Must possess a minimum of three yrs. experience in shipping environments (one year supervisory experience).
  • 4-5 years as a shift manager
  • 5-10 years in pick and ship operations
  • Strong interpersonal skills and decision-making abilities.
  • Has control over work areas.

  • Computer work for checking inventory levels and status of inbound product.
  • Inventory is correct and acute at all times.
  • May be required to speak on the phone.
  • Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
  • Communications with other employees throughout the day.

Reset Specialist

General Summary:
Reports to the Marketing Manager

Responsible for excellent product placement within Member stores. Works with Procurement and Marketing teams to develop planograms that will maximize product sales.

Primary Responsibility:
Executes company developed grocery resets based on company objectives. Communicates reset objectives with customers.

Essential Functions:

  • Maintain product tags in all stores
  • Identifies solutions to out of stock issues
  • Develops relationships with key decision makers
  • Develops tools to meet customer needs
  • Meets business objectives by executing excellence in products placement
  • Utilizes market information to create solutions to increase company margins
  • Provides excellent customer service
  • Communicates product attributes and marketing activities
  • Assists in supporting company sponsored promotional programs
  • Attends and participates in all safety meetings

Cashier

General Summary:
Reports to Front End Manage

Accurately process sales and payments for goods/services and provide receipts to customers.

Primary Responsibility:
Ensures accurate scanning of all items being purchased. Responsible for handling all payments and transactions correctly. Accountable for accurately balancing cash tray daily.

Essential Functions:

  • Greets and acknowledges each customer
  • Assists customers where possible
  • Provides answers to product and payment-related queries
  • Refers customers to the right person to answer queries and deal with any problems
  • Process payments according to company procedure
  • Issues receipts for payments received
  • Accurately calculates discounts and special offers
  • Stays up to date on all promotions and special offers
  • Balances sales and receipts according to company procedure
  • Maintains accurate records of transactions
  • Maybe required to assist in other areas such as shelf stocking, product display, pricing and clean-up

Experience and Skills:

  • Ability to complete assigned shifts
  • Desire to grow in job, good judgment, adaptability, and organized
  • Basic mathematical knowledge
  • Some experience dealing with money preferable

Carry-Out

General Summary:
Reports to Front-End Manager

Responsible for taking extra care of customers by satisfying every customer’s specific needs, going beyond their expectations, and making each shopping visit enjoyable and a pleasing experience.

Primary Responsibility:
Provides carryout and package pickup service, loading goods into the customer vehicles and returning all shopping carts into the store.

Essential Functions:

  • Bag / Box groceries and other items
  • Work in tandem with the cashier to efficiently manage all purchases
  • Carry bags in a cart to a customer’s car upon request
  • Help the customer load goods into their car
  • Ensure that the bags are not too heavy to carry for the customer
  • Collect shopping carts and baskets and deliver them to the right place
  • Return grocery items left at checkout counters to their rightful places
  • Greet customers and assist them with item location
  • Maintain parking lot cleanliness
  • Monitor bag / box supplies and replenish supplies when low
  • Remove unwanted items from the cashier stand and return them to the appropriate area

Educational Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged lifting and walking
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Stocker

General Summary:
Reports to the Receiving Supervisor

Accountable for replenishment and upholding the quality and standards of goods in the store.

Primary Responsibility:
Responsible for the flow of merchandise from the point of delivery to the sales floor or internal destination. Also responsible for unpacking, processing, organizing, and storing merchandise. Ensures that products are easily accessible, visually appealing, and constantly available.

Essential Functions:

  • Enhances the brand image of both the products and the store, and positively impact the customer experience
  • Ensures that all items are stocked and area is ready for customers to shop
  • Ensures that warehouse is clean and safe to shop
  • Sorts grocery items and assigns them with relevant labels and price tags
  • Stacks goods in an organized manner in the store shelves
  • Maintains replenishment of products in a timely manner
  • Keeps products rotated and maintains product quality
  • Ensures perishable goods are stored at the appropriate temperature
  • Maintains regular inventory counts.
  • Prominently displaying promotional offers
  • Reports damages and discrepancies to the supervisor
  • Co-coordinating work functions with the sales team and other departments
  • Fronting and facing products

Experience and Skills:

  • 2-3 years’ experience working with scanners and in a large distribution company
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to effectively manage time, meet targets and work in a team
  • In compliance with the food and safety regulations

Educational Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged walking and standing for 8 continuous hours including but not limited to a concrete or tile surface
  • Product replenishing which includes frequent bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, balancing, pushing and pulling
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
